the story was interesting for most of the book
but the ending was dull
only one twist that was interesting but didn't lead anywhere
maybe readers' expectations have been changed by people like James Patterson
we expect faster pacing, more twists and turns, an exciting ending
the behind-the-scenes look at a big law firm was interesting
how overworked young associates are
and how they overbill big corporations
but the key story itself didn't have enough to it
it was a good concept to start out
but the ending didn't wrap up with any surprises
that was probably the key, the ending was too simple and straightforward
with no real resolution or final surprise |
