fourth in the series
i like the character, so i'll read all of the books in the series
but the latest ones haven't been as good as the first books
this one is okay, but it doesn't feel like it moves very quickly
the setup feels long
i like when it gets into the details of the actual threat
but most of the story feels like bridging conflict rather than the main threat
there are lots of unexplained phenomena that are probably intentional
but i like things to all come together at the end, and this didn't really
it was more of a slice of Odd's life that had some thriller aspects
but not enough for me
overall, just average |
