some really nice early twists
the pace is fast like all his books
the first half of the story is really interesting, as events build up
the last 50-100 pages are more straightforward
somehow the biggest twist doesn't come off as a huge surprise
it comes out a bit more slowly or something
so it doesn't feel like a sudden revelation
that's probably the only thing i would have changed significantly
the final ending wraps up cleanly enough
overall, a good book with an interesting story and quick pace |
