short book, relatively fast to read
the financial stuff is interesting
the political and thriller aspects are average, but not great
it gets pretty confusing by the middle of the story
and the ending requires a lot of explanation to wrap it up
i don't like how the viewpoint changes mid-section a lot
it makes it hard to know who's speaking sometimes, the attributions aren't clear
the ending chase is over the top, especially the dialogue with exclamation points
the main character is a bit of an anti-hero at times with his drinking and problems
overall, it's decent but not great
and where's the actual trust fund of the title? |
