kinda long, and pretty slow through most of it
the ending had decent action
but the stakes were maybe raised higher than necessary
the twists were telegraphed too early
there were also too many flashbacks that interrupted the flow
the description of Zurich and the Swiss culture was interesting
but the key setting of a Swiss bank could have been developed even more
with all the intricacies of a numbered account used to advance the plot
the relationship could have been integrated more to give an emotional ending
overall, it was a good debut novel, but i would have preferred faster pace |
