Notes
followup to Deadman's Poker
both of these books need to be read together to get the whole story
this is the second book, and it explains the main poker scam from the first book
overall, the wrap-up is complete for all the various subplots
the poker scam is decent, but it's spread out over two books which seems like too much
personally, I like all of the mini-scams that Rufus pulls
the pacing is good as usual, and the book is entertaining
there are a few more details on actual poker hands, but still not that much
I would have liked to see lots of variations on poker cheats with specific hands |
