eh, not very good
the pace is slow
there's way too much crazy stuff happening that seems forced
it's like he's trying to raise the stakes but it doesn't work, it's not realistic
there's way too much happening for one thing
all this stuff about secret societies just seems really fake
the action is very slow, the last 15 pages finally has action but that's it
and then one of the deaths near the end is totally arbitrary
there are decisions made just to fit the plot, they aren't inevitable events
he has strayed from his strength, the financial thriller
it's become a generic global suspense thriller but it doesn't work |
