hm, i don't like how the typesettting has lines close together vertically
it takes longer to flip pages, which makes the story feel slower
there are only 313 pages total, but i'd rather have more pages with less words
i would also prefer shorter chapters rather than section breaks in longer chapters
i like the financial thriller genre in general i think
though it may not have quite the same action as other thrillers
there's lots of financial jargon, which can be a bit overwhelming sometimes
the whole nanotechnology angle seems a bit forced and not entirely necessary
the title also doesn't seem perfect, it fits the intro but not necessarily the ending
the bulk of the story in the beginning and middle didn't move as fast as i would like
the ending wrapped up quickly with explanations, which was decent
though somehow all the mystery seemed to extend for the vast majority of the book
i would have preferred for more solutions earlier, and then a final big solution
there wasn't really a huge twist at the end, though there were some surprises
i think all the loose ends were wrapped up
but i really couldn't even remember all the confusing clues from the beginning
overall a decent book, my review would be better than many others
but it's not awesome, i'd prefer a faster pace and stronger climax and ending |
