pretty good
jumps right into the action
the beginning does a bit of author intrusion by hinting about what will happen
good background on urban exploration
the first big hint is that the main character isn't who he seems
problems happen once they enter
the first set of bad guys seems a bit contrived, they don't have a strong story goal
lots of early hints are paid off well by the end, that's something i like
the main opposition is pretty good
fast paced writing, short sentences keep the action moving quickly
lots of death, maybe too much, it starts to feel a bit repetitive or less powerful
the final ending is decent, but not a huge twist or climax point
not too easy or weak conclusion either, so overall, it's a pretty good book |
