Notes
i don't really like all the changing viewpoints, it doesn't flow as well to me
the prose also seems too casual or flippant, i prefer a real narrator
the pacing is good as in every James Patterson novel
there are interesting action scenes but they go by pretty quick
nice lines - I guess you live in your head more than anyplace else. If your
head is in a good place it doesn't matter quite as much if the rest of you isn't.
the famous lawyer wanting to take over the case is like John Grisham's books
some nice surprises keep the bulk of the middle moving along
the passing of a year before the trial seems glossed over, i didn't remember it
Kate refers to a previous section Tom wrote, as if they read all the sections
that doesn't make sense to me, they shouldn't know what the other people wrote
nice twist at the end, but it's pretty extreme, maybe too big for my taste
the beginning gave warnings, like the multiple viewpoints and possible lying
final words are kinda eh, overall i wasn't that crazy about this story |
