too much repetition of the hints that Kurt is helping Jason in evil ways
it's not subtle anymore, and that makes the suspense feel weaker
i like all the references to self-improvement books and corporate warfare
overall the prose seems to flow smoother than his past books
i don't like the few times he directly addresses the reader as "you"
doesn't make sense that Jason would try to get Kurt fired, that's too extreme
late scene in the elevator is good because it was hinted at earlier
the ending was good as usual, lots of nice twists
his acknowledgments are always interesting, he is great at research |
