there's problems with technique
shifting point of view
exclamation points are over the top
doesn't start off that fast
but his style is evident, short chapters
lots of cliffhangers once it gets going
clearly a good outline with foreshadowing
some good points - Liz Stratton seems innocent
she's not mentioned much and she seems nice
but she turns out to be much more involved
also Ned has a trump card which turns out to be Sol
interesting ending, lots of twists but maybe too many
not really my ideal style, but certainly a pageturner |
