Here in my Dreams

In my dreams
I could be a man with fame
And fortune in my hand
A secret agent superman
Imagination takes me in
With wonders to behold
'Cause the mind's eye sees the farthest
It's a window to the soul

And sometimes I wish I could see
The things you seem to see

But here in my dreams
I face the day
The shadows flown away
And all I want is here in my dreams

Out there in reality
Things can be unclear
Complications seem to come from everywhere
The truth is on the horizon
Drifting forward, back and in between
Rising over me like a storm cloud from the sea

And sometimes I wish I could be
The things you seem to be

But here in my dreams
I face the day
The shadows flown away
And all I love is here in my dreams

I find the strength
To find another way
And all I want, and all your love
Is here in my dreams
